Too bad I already have too many projects, I would be on my way to get this NOW.
Looks like she just needs a good cleaning inside and she’d be ready to rock.

Not enough pictures to judge, but it might be a possible time capsule. The question is, what would you do with it?

If it’s as nice as it looks, drive it as is until it has a major engine/trans failure, then swap it to a 2.5L turbo/manual so I can finally have the turbo mini I’m always looking for.

The last one maybe. That would be after it has major drivetrain failure and I swap it for a turbo 4/manual combo.
The first 1 is just a waste of what looks to be a decent van.

I was actually looking for a good picture of a Caravan doing RallyX or AutoX, and didn’t find much there, but stumbled onto that one and thought it was funny.

I don’t understand how that survived my state. It should have rust everywhere!

Oh man, kid I went to high school with his dad kinda collected these vans. He had a manual can and an AWD van. Had a few others, not sure if he had the elusive turbo van though.

I have one . A 1989 plymouth grand voyager se turbo deep cherry red wth red cloth interior. 41 k on the odo . new brakes, shocks, struts , tires and still chasing vacume leaks. 9lbs of four cyl fury through the slushiest three speed non locking tranny goodness you can imagine. oh long time lurker 1st time post.

Where and how much?
The 3-speed is fine, it can easily be built to handle a lot of abuse.

I figure I need a Turbo/manual and an AWD to add to my collection.
The AWD would be my van version 2.0, so it would likely see A LOT of off-road time.
The Turbo/manual would be my daily/sleeper. I wouldn’t do anything that wasn’t reversible on it though.

Same way all of mine have survived WI.............Some people are very meticulous with their vehicles.

NO IT’S MINE!
Besides, you’d have to change your screen name if you bought this.

Auto-x:
I wish I’d have gotten video when I used to auto-x my 95. That van was actually quite impressive on the track.
I’ll have to make sure I get video of my van doing Rally-x this year.

we are in a dry part of Texas known for our sticks during certain parts of the year. i have just over 4k in it since the performance trans rebuild. it is also a wheelchair van.

I don’t blame you a bit . but it really is better than most are thinking and it is indeed a long body grand voyager turbo. behold the dragon wagon. it will be done by tax season. Seating for six (wheelchair person included ) but only if three are small and do not mind lap belts only ..

Ideally, I want a SWB Caravan/Voyager SE. The Grand vans tack on extra weight, which to me defeats the purpose.
Your van looks nice, but for me, it would just be used for a drivetrain donor.
